New Grand Jury Investigating Trump’s Hush Money Payment To Stormy Daniels
Manhattan prosecutors investigating former President Donald Trump have convened a new grand jury.
It was convened to hear evidence in the ongoing inquiry into “hush money” payments made to keep adult film actress Stormy Daniels silent about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump.
Witnesses began testifying before the grand jury last week.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg hinted that this is the “next chapter” in his office’s Trump investigation.

In a post on the platform Truth Social, Trump called out Bragg as the “Radical Left Manhattan D.A.” and said the new grand jury was “a continuation of the Greatest Witch Hunt of all time.”
Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen went to prison for his role in the payment, but Trump has so far evaded responsibility.
Bragg recently won a conviction of the Trump Organization for illegally inflating its profits in order to secure better loan terms.
