‘National Enquirer’ Paid Trump Tower Doorman Dino Sajudin $30K For Alleged Love Child Story, Then Killed It

The National Enquirer paid former Trump Tower doorman Dino Sajudin $30,000 for his account of President Donald Trump allegedly fathering a child with a housekeeper — and then it ordered its reporters to stop investigating the matter.

“Today I awoke to learn that a confidential agreement I had with AMI (The National Enquirer) with regard to a story about President Trump was leaked to the press,” Sajudin said in a statement acquired by CNN. “I can confirm that while working at Trump World Tower I was instructed not to criticize President Trump’s former housekeeper due to a prior relationship she had with President Trump which produced a child.”

The New Yorker first reported the incident, carried out by the National Enquirer’s publisher, American Media Inc., whose CEO, David Pecker, is friends with Trump and previously had former Playmate Karen McDougal’s affair with the president covered up as well. Sajudin said that high-level employees of Trump told him the story as well, but a spokesperson for Trump Organization denied the claims to the New Yorker.

AMI also launched a lawsuit against the Associated Press when it tried investigating AMI’s coverup of the alleged love child last year, and the AP and AMI sat down for a meeting. The AP eventually decided not to run the story.

Sajudin’s agreement was amended in December 2016. He can now speak about the story, but not about his agreement with AMI.

There is no evidence that Trump illegitimately fathered a child. The suspected daughter and her mother both declined to comment to the New Yorker, and the family’s father said the allegations were “completely false and ridiculous.”
