During a White House press conference Monday, My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell encouraged Americans to read their bibles and claimed President Donald Trump was a gift from god.
“I wrote something off the cuff, if I can read this,” Lindell after he was given the podium. “God gave us grace on Nov. 8, 2016, to change the course we were on. God had been taken out of our schools and lives. A nation had turned its back on God, and I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the ‘Word,’ read our Bibles and spend time with our families.”
He continued, “Our president gave us so much hope, where just a few short months ago, we had the best economy, the lowest unemployment, wages going up — It was amazing.”
Lindell added that the country would survive the pandemic “with our great president, vice president and this administration, and all the great people in this country praying daily.”

Trump then thanked him for his supportive comments, adding that he “did not know he was going to do that. But he’s a friend of mine, and I do appreciate it.”
Lindell has risen to the forefront of the news after he announced that My Pillow would be devoting 75% of its production to manufacturing masks for healthcare workers. Its goal is to produce 50,000 masks per day which would only be available for medical facilities to purchase.
Lindell has been an avid Trump supporter and donated more than $200,000 to Trump’s campaign and the Trump Victory PAC, according to disclosure forms filed to the Federal Elections Committee.
