The lawyer representing the porn star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, teased a major announcement on Saturday when he offered to soon reveal the identity of the alleged man who threatened his client in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011.
Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing Daniels in her lawsuit against the president and his personal lawyer Michael Cohen, said he had major news regarding an incident in which his client was allegedly threatened for talking about her affair with President Donald Trump that took place 2006, shortly after his wife Melania Trump had given birth to the couple’s first son, Barron Trump.

Since taking Daniels case, Avenatti has doubled as his client’s chief promoter. When news broke that 60 Minutes was planning to interview Daniels on her relationship with the president, Avenatti booked plenty of interviews on broadcast news networks in preparation for the debut.
Daniels’ claims that the president’s personal attorney approached her in 2016, just before the election when he paid her $130,000 out of pocket through a private LLC that Cohen had set up in an effort to get Daniels to sign a nondisclosure agreement, which barred her from talking publicly about her affair with Trump. In the 60 Minutes interview, Daniels claimed it was the negative feedback from the president’s supporters, calling her a liar, that moved her to come forward with her story.
