Michael Avenatti, Lawyer For Stormy Daniels, Announces 3 New Clients With Claims Against Donald Trump

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing adult film actress Stormy Daniels otherwise known as Stephanie Clifford, announced at an event in West Hollywood on Thursday that he is now also representing three additional women with similar claims as Clifford, saying that they were all paid money in exchange for silence shortly before the 2016 presidential election.

Avenatti told community goers and reporters on Thursday that the three additional women he’s now representing had contacted him months prior and that each had their own evidence of their affairs, linking them to now President Donald Trump. He failed to elaborate however citing that he was “not at liberty to share” all the details without permission first from his clients.

Avenatti has been a thorn in the president’s side since he first took on Clifford’s case, frequently appearing in TV to apply pressure on the president and his defense to release information on what they know about his client’s case.

SLIDESHOW: DONALD TRUMP’S 30 CRAZIEST TWEETS

Clifford, who had originally hired Avenatti to help her navigate out of a non-disclosure agreement she had signed in exchange for $130,000 payment from Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen, is also suing Cohen for allegedly colluding with her former lawyer in getting her to go onto Fox News to falsely deny the affair.

Trump himself has flatly denied ever having an affair with Clifford or knowing about any payment made to Clifford by Cohen or himself, Trump initially claimed to have only heard the news of the payment and affair from media reports after the fact.

Avenatti isn’t buying any of that, and on Thursday, he demanded that Cohen and President Trump “release the information to the American people now, enough with the games,” he said.
