Michael Avenatti: “I Do Not Think The President Will Serve Out His Term”

Adult film star Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti predicted that President Donald Trump will not finish his term for the second time Tuesday night.

“There’s no question that Michael Cohen knows where many, many bodies are buried,” Avenatti told Lawrence O’Donnell. “They are going to turn him, and when they turn him, the President is going to be in a very, very bad place. And I’m going to make a prediction now. I do not think the President will serve out his term. I just don’t.”

Avenatti is leading the team arguing that Daniels’ contract to stay quiet about her affair with Trump is actually void because he never signed the document. Avenatti has been outspokenly against Trump and his team throughout the process.

Several weeks ago, Avenatti predicted that Cohen would be indicted and “flip” on the President, though Trump is confident it won’t happen.

“I was the first one to call it,”  Avenatti said. “And now, you know, people that are close to the President are telling him the same thing. I mean, I think the story in the Wall Street Journal about his counsel telling the President that Cohen is not even a one on a scale of one to 100 as to individuals that would protect him speaks volumes. I mean, this is a very, very serious matter for the President at this point.”

Avenatti said that while Trump could pardon Cohen, he believes the New York Attorney General may predict this and keep the matter within the state so a pardon can’t be issued after going through the work of bringing charges against Cohen.

“This is a serious, serious issue for the President,” Avenatti said. “He knows it, Michael Cohen knows it and the people that are close to him know it.”
