Laura Ingraham Declares Old America Dead Due To “Demographic Changes,” Critics Call Rant “Racist” [VIDEO]

On Wednesday, Fox News host Laura Ingraham declared that the “America we know and love doesn’t exist anymore” blaming the changing demographics of the country, particularly legal and illegal immigration. Many critics, including some Republicans like S.E. Cupp, blasted the rant with some calling it “racist.”

Ingraham was provoked by comments made by rising-star House Democratic candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez during a podcast interview in which she described the ways in which the country has changed over the past decade. After mocking the House candidate’s comments, Ingraham reluctantly conceded that she was “kind of right in a general sense.”

“In some parts of the country, it does seem like the America we know and love doesn’t exist anymore,” Ingraham said. “Massive demographic changes have been foisted upon the American people. And they’re changes that none of us ever voted for and most of us don’t like.”

Ingraham concluded her monologue with a plea to President Donald Trump. “This is a national emergency and he must demand that Congress act now,” she said. “There is something slipping away in this country and it’s not about race or ethnicity. It’s what was once a common understanding by both parties that American citizenship is a privilege, and one that at a minimum requires respect for the rule of law and loyalty to our Constitution.”
