Kid Rock Refuses To Walk Back Drunken Anti-Oprah Rant
Musician Kid Rock opted to stand by drunken comments he made years ago about Oprah Winfrey in an interview with Tucker Carlson.
“A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts. I own what I said,” Rock said.
In 2019, Rock got drunk and was filmed on stage in Nashville saying, “F— Oprah Winfrey.”
“I don’t apologize to anybody. I’m not an Oprah Winfrey fan,” he explained. “I got drunk and next thing, I’m on stage [saying] f— Oprah.”

That night, he also called out TV host Kathie Lee Gifford, which he did walk back. He said he meant to call out comedian Kathy Griffin.
