Kellyanne Conway Wanted To Slam Husband George For “Disrespectful” Anti-Trump Tweets – As Anonymous Source

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway recently criticized her husband for a series of tweets in which he slammed President Donald Trump, although she said she wanted her remarks to be off the record.

While speaking to The Washington Post, Conway called her husband George‘s Twitter posts about the president “disrespectful” and even went as far as to say they may have broken their “marital vows.” The presidential adviser reportedly asked to be referred to as an anonymous source, or “a person familiar with their relationship.”

George Conway — a lawyer and former candidate for U.S. solicitor general — previously supported Trump but has now fiercely criticized the president on a number of issues including the Muslim ban, the firing of former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and the $130,000 hush-money payment the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen made to porn star Stormy Daniels

Here is a snapshot of the conversation Kellyanne Conway had with Ben Terris — the Post reporter who interviewed her — and that was published on Wednesday evening:

Dozens of journalists reveled in the exchange between the presidential counselor and Terris, with some calling the comments of Trump’s former campaign manager on par with her infamous “alternative facts” phrase:

SLIDESHOW: DONALD TRUMP’S 30 CRAZIEST TWEETS

This is Kellyanne Conway’s second blunder in recent weeks, following her inability to name a top African-American White House aide in an interview over the weekend.
