A group of lawyers called the 65 Project, which targets attorneys who make spurious claims of election fraud, have filed bar complaints against former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lakes lawyers.

Lake has not accepted that she lost last year’s race for Arizona governor race. She made fraud claims and filed lawsuits to advance the claim. Last month, a judge ruled that she had failed to provide evidence to support her claims.

The four lawyers representing Lake originally filed the lawsuit in April, claiming that electronic voting machines could not be trusted.

Michael Teter, the managing director of the 65 Project, stated that “this was [a] pre-planned, orchestrated effort to disrupt Arizona’s election even before it began and claim that there was fraud.”
