Sen. Kamala Harris (D-California) struggled under repeated attacks during Wednesday night’s second Democratic debate. 

Harris stumbled on criminal justice when Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) questioned her about her previous work as attorney general of California.  

Harris supports Medicaid for All but was fuzzy when how to pay for it when former Vice President Joe Biden noted that it would cost about $30 trillion to expand Medicare.  

Harris made several arguments but failed to back them up with evidence, and did not respond to Gabbard’s question.

Harris did manage a concise answer when Sen. Michael Bennet’s (D-Colorado) stated that she wanted to end employer-sponsored healthcare.

After the debate, the hashtag #KamalaHarrisDestroyed was trending, though many users are saying the the hashtag is primarily used by President Donald Trump supporters.
