Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. has claimed that pictures of him dancing and drinking  at Miami Beach nightclub on July 19, 2014, were photoshopped.

Falwell does not allow students at the evangelical school to interact with the opposite sex after dark. The school has notoriously strict alcohol consumption rules – students can face expulsion for drinking. The students receive demerits for coed dancing.

Falwell claimed the photos from WorldRedEye.com were doctored, after a drunken dance-floor image surfaced. Falwell told the Miami Herald, “If you show me the picture, I can probably help you out. I think you are making some incorrect assumptions, or have been told false things or are seeing something that was photoshopped. … I never asked anyone to get rid of any pictures on the internet of me and I never have seen the picture you claim is of me below. If the person in the picture is me, it was likely photoshopped.”

Seth Browarnik, the owner of World Red Eye, a photography company documenting Miami nightlife, posted on the website, “We wholly reject Jerry Falwell Jr.’s baseless allegation in yesterday’s Politico report by Brandon Ambrosino that one of our pictures was ‘photo-shopped’ or manipulated in any fashion.” Browarnik then went into his archive of over five million photos and found more.

Browarnik claimed he did not know how many photos he had of Falwell until he complained. Browarnik said, “We didn’t even know [Falwell] was in the photos. Number one! Finding him in the crowd is like a ‘Where’s Waldo?'”

Browarnik stated that he felt insulted. “My integrity is everything in this business,” he said.
