Herschel Walker did it again and went viral due to a bizarre televised moment — which has become usual in his campaign for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. This time, the Republican candidate inspired memes by mixing words and saying: “This erection is about the people.”

“First of all, this election is more than Herschel Walker,” Walker said during an interview aired on Fox News.

“This erection is about the people,” he added, obviously confusing the words “election” and “erection.”

In the video, Walker is surrounded by Republican Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Lindsey Graham (South Carolina). They both nod, awkwardly trying to move on from the unexpected moment.

Previously in the campaign, Walker starred in moments that became instant hits on social media due to confusing or strange remarks. The most recent episode happened when he said he would like to be a werewolf during a rambling speech that was supposed to be about faith in democracy.

Walker faces Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) in a runoff election scheduled for Dec. 6 after neither candidate received more than 50 percent of the votes on Election Day.

The campaign of the Republican nominee, who is endorsed by former President Donald Trump, has been marred not only by gaffes but also by more serious scandals.

In the last few months, Walker has been accused by two women of pressuring them to have an abortion, even though he presents himself as a conservative, anti-abortion candidate.
