Current and former Fox News hosts including Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs, are scheduled to be deposed in Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion lawsuit against the company.
Dominion filed a defamation lawsuit against Fox News in March 2021 following the 2020 election, claiming that allegations of voter fraud made against them by the network were “intentionally and falsely” used to “promote former President Trump’s narrative after Trump’s condemnation of Fox damaged its stock and viewership.”
They specifically alleged that Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch knew the claims were wrong but went along with it anyway to bring in the views.
Fox News personalities Steve Doocy and Jeanine Pirro have already complied with the investigation and provided Dominion’s attorneys with depositions.

“We are confident we will prevail as freedom of the press is foundational to our democracy and must be protected, in addition to the damages claims being outrageous, unsupported and not rooted in sound financial analysis, serving as nothing more than a flagrant attempt to deter our journalists from doing their jobs,” read a statement from Fox News Media.
The trial is scheduled for next April, and there have been no reports of a possible settlement in the future.
