Former GOP Rep. Justin Amash Will Vote For Articles Of Impeachment Against Trump
Rep. Justin Amash (I–Michigan)says he’ll vote for three articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. He believes there is sufficient evidence against to impeach the president for the proposed articles of obstruction of Congress and abuse of power. “Impeachment is like an indictment,” he said. “We’re just issuing the charges.”
The House Democrats finalized the articles of impeachment last week.
This summer, Amash left the Republican party to become an independent. He believes Americas two party system has been a threat to American principles and institutions.
Amash recently tweeted about his decision of leaving the Republican party.
