Facing Expulsion, Indicted Rep. George Santos Says He Won’t Quit
Rep. George Santos (R-New York) is making clear he’s “not resigning” from Congress after multiple indictments and now a move by fellow Republicans to expel him from the House.

Santos is facing 13 felonies for alleged fraud and embezzlement.
Rep. Anthony D’Esposito (R-New York), along with other New York Republicans, have put forward a resolution to expel Santos from Congress to “rid the People’s House of fraudster George Santos.”
For a member of Congress to be expelled, a two-thirds majority vote in the chamber is needed, which has happened twice since the Civil War.
