Eric Trump Claims 95% Of Americans Support His Father

In an interview on Fox and Friends, Eric Trump claimed that “95% of this country is behind [his father’s]… message.” Eric said that President Donald Trump is constantly fighting the “media” and “these lunatics.”  

Trump’s approval rating in a CNN poll from late June 2019 is 45% approval and 51% disapproval. In the Real Clear Politics polling average, Trump gets a 44.8% approval rating and 51.9% disapproval.

Trump’s approval rate has never reached above 46%, making his approval the lowest of all United States presidents. Trump himself admitted in a Tweet last Wednesday that his approval rating is far below what Eric claimed it was. The president also used the tweet as an opportunity to attack Democrats by calling four minority congresswomen “vicious young Socialist[‘s].”

Eric seems to be operating on the hope that there are far more hidden Trump supporters than non-supporters.
