Vice President Joe Biden won the Democratic primaries in Michigan, Missouri and Mississippi defeating Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) by wide margins on Tuesday night. Biden racked up big numbers with black and suburban voters while Sanders was strong among young voters in college towns.
Biden continued to expand his delegate advantage over Sanders with tonight’s results.
Sanders had won Michigan over Hillary Clinton 2016 in a major upset.
