Donald Trump has reportedly been discussing his belief that he’ll get to appoint more justices to the Supreme Court.

DONALD TRUMP REPORTEDLY BELIEVES HE’LL APPOINT THREE MORE SUPREME COURT JUSTICES

Multiple sources have claimed that the president is openly predicting that he will get the chance to fill more slots. After Republicans blocked President Barack Obama‘s choice to fill the vacant seat left by Antonin Scalia when he died in 2016, Trump appointed Neil Gorsuch to the post.

Justice Anthony Kennedy, 81, is rumored to be thinking about retiring. Sources say that Trump has been talking about both Ruth Bader Ginsburg‘s and Sonia Sotomayor‘s health. “What does she weight, 60 pounds?” Trump reportedly said about the former, and, “Her health, no good. Diabtetes,” about the latter. Sotomayor is 63.

Kennedy was appointed by Ronald Reagan and is a moderate conservative, while Ginsburg and Sotomayor are liberal justices, and were appointed by Bill Clinton and Obama, respectively. Replacing even one of these judges could vastly change the Supreme Court, and shift the balance toward the right. Stephen Breyer, another liberal justice, is 79 years old.
