Former President Donald Trump lashed out at tech billionare Elon Musk during a campaign-style rally in Alaska over the weekend for lying about who he voted for.

“You know what he said the other day? ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican,'” Trump said. “I said, ‘I didn’t know that. He said he voted for me!’ So he’s another bulls–t artist.”

“He’s not going to be buying [Twitter],” the former president added, in reference to Musk backing out of the $44 billion deal on Friday. “Although he might later, who the hell knows? He’s got a pretty rotten contract. I looked at his contract. Not a good contract.”

Trump went on to promote his social media platform Truth Social, telling his supporters to sign-up.

“We love the truth,” he said to a response of cheers from the crowd. “It’s doing good.”

Trump was banned from Twitter following the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. Musk had promised to remove the restrictions and censorship, as well as allowing Trump to return after buying the social media platform.
