California’s gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner was heckled with transphobic abuse while attending the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas.
Jenner is currently running for governor of California against Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-California) in his recall election.
A video shows the heckler approaching Jenner while she poses for photos in the lobby of the Hilton Anatole Hotel.
The video released on Saturday shows a heckler who’s approaching Jenner and repeatedly deadnaming – intentionally using her previous gender – her.

“Hey, Bruce. Bruce, what do you think about the stuff that they’re teaching in schools regarding the LGBTQ?” the heckler said to her. Bruce is Jenner’s birth name.
“About Jesus Christ, Bruce. Don’t forget about Jesus,” the heckler added.
Jenner ignored the attacker and walked away. But the heckler continued his abuse.
