Pacific Hills Banquet and Event Center in Laguna Hills, a hotel located in Orange County, California, canceled an “America First” rally on Friday after learning that Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) would be speaking.
“As soon as we found out who the speakers were, we immediately canceled it,” Javad Mirtavoosi, general manager of the venue, told the Orange County Register. “We just thought it would be best for our facility to cancel.”
The two representatives, who are still selling tickets, are currently looking for a new venue.
“We’re very close to securing a location that will proudly host our America First Rally with Congresswoman Greene and Congressman Gaetz,” Greene campaign spokesperson Nick Dyer said.
