After reports came out last week that ticket sales are lagging for former President Donald Trump’s upcoming speaking tour with ex-Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, the former anchor has threatened to sue the reporter who wrote the story.
Last month, the former president announced that he would join O’Reilly for a “History Tour” in December 2021, promising “fun, fun, fun for everyone who attends.” O’Reilly also confirmed that his conversations with Trump “will not be boring.”
Prices for the event range from $100 to $300; however, the “VIP Meet & Greet Package” is priced at over $8,500. This package includes having pictures taken with Trump and O’Reilly and attending a 45-minute pre-show reception.
Though the tour is not until the end of this year, arena officials say the ticket sales are moving slow when compared to other acts.

For instance, “there’s still a lot of tickets open” for an event at the 20,000-capacity Amway Center in Orlando on Dec. 12, a box office employee for the arena told Politico.
The employee added: “We have concerts that are doing a lot better than this,” namely a Bad Bunny concert that isn’t until next March.
Trump’s upcoming event at the Toyota Center in Houston also isn’t looking too packed (60 to 65 percent of seats remain unsold). O’Reilly threatened to sue the Politico reporter who wrote the story “if one word is untrue.”
