Adult film star Stormy Daniels in an interview with In Touch magazine told the publication in 2011 that she had began seeing Donald Trump in 2006 following a celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

In the interview Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, detailed the alleged affair between herself and Trump that took place just one year after he had married Melania, Trump’s third wife.

The article, which is headlined as “Donald Trump Cheated on Melania With Me,” quoted Daniels on alleged sexual activities between the two.

“I actually don’t even remember why I did it but I do remember while we were having sex, I was like, ‘Please don’t try to pay me,'” said Daniels in 2011. “He told me once that I was someone to be reckoned with, beautiful and smart just like his daughter.”

Daniels also in the 2011 interview alleged that she and Trump had several more encounters over the next few years which ultimately culminated in a hastily drawn up agreement last year, just one month before the 2016 election, that barred her from discussing the details of the alleged affair with the public in exchange for a one-time $130,000 payment.

Trumps long time lawyer Michael Cohen is reported to have orchestrated the agreement by setting up a private LLC named Essential Consultants LLC as a means of paying Daniels for her silence. Something that Cohen and Daniels vehemently deny.

Cohen also released a statement from Daniels denying a “sexual and/or romantic affair” with Trump.

Though Cohen has not immediately responded to a request for comment in the past he has said that “these rumors have circulated time and again since 2011” and that both president Trump and Daniels deny any such occurrence ever took place.
