President Donald Trump attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and CBS on Sunday night, calling her 60 Minutes interview with Lesley Stahl a “puff piece.”
When asked to describe the president, Pelosi called him unfit and claimed that he knew of this, too.

“I think there’s nobody in the country who knows better that he should not be president of the United States than Donald Trump,” Pelosi said.

Despite this dispute, in the interview that aired Sunday on CBS, Pelosi claimed that cooperation between the two is still possible.
“I respect the office he holds,” she said, “He’s not worth the trouble of saying you’re so horrible we can’t work together. No, we need to work together.”
At the end of the interview, Stahl asked Pelosi what the future of our political system would be like.
“Well, I think our future – is strong enough – built on a strong foundation to withstand everything including the current occupant of the White House,” Pelosi said, “I don’t think for two terms though.”
