Trump Says House Judiciary Committee Should Investigate Obama’s Netflix Deal Instead Of Him
President Donald Trump suggested the House Judiciary Committee should put more energy towards investigating former President Barack Obama on his Netflix deal and less looking into the dealings of the Trump administration.
On Monday, the president put out a string of tweets, where he reiterated his anger at investigations into his administration. “House Judiciary has given up on the Mueller Report, sadly for them after two years” after finding “ZERO COLLUSION, ZERO OBSTRUCTION,” wrote the president. He went on to claim that since the Democrats have “failed” to find wrong doing so many times “now the Democrats are trying to build a case that I enrich myself by being President.”
Trump said he has a better idea for the House Judiciary Committee, instead of spending time investigating him, they should “look at the Obama Book Deal, or the ridiculous Netflix deal.”
Michelle and Barack Obama reportedly signed a $65 million book deal and a deal to produce original films and series for Netflix, highlighting positive stories about people making a difference. It is unclear what exactly the president feels would justify an investigation into the Obama’s Netflix and book deal or what crimes should be investigated.

The hashtag “Obama Netflix” did blow up on Twitter with many pointing to the incoherence of the president’s last tweet on the matter where he said, “I am far beyond somebody paying for a hotel room for the evening, or filling up a gas tank at an airport I do not own. These Radical Left Democrats are CRAZY! Obama Netflix?”
