The U.S. economy under President Donald Trump has been strong in recent months, although there has been concern among many pundits that a recession could occur as the 2020 election draws closer.

Self-help author Marianne Williamson, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, spoke to uPolitics exclusively about her plan to improve the state of the economy. She said one of her top priorities would be to get rid of the massive tax cut bill the Republican Party passed in 2017, when it held the majority in both Houses of Congress after the 2016 election.
