Although China, once the epicenter of the virus, still holds the highest amount of reported cases (over 80,000) the spread has begun to slow there. On Wednesday, for the first time since the outbreak began, China reported no new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), indicating that the spread had concentrated in a different area. Italy has been hit particularly hard by the virus and currently has the highest amount of active coronavirus cases of any country.
What Countries Have The Most Cases Of Coronavirus/COVID-19?
Worldometer reported on March 18 that the country has 28,710 active cases. Spain has the second highest amount of active cases at 13,050, followed by Germany at 12,210. Iran has the the third most active cases at 10,516, followed in fourth place by the U.S. with just over 9,000 confirmed cases.
