President Donald Trump announced he would be purchasing a Tesla vehicle to express his support for Elon Musk on Tuesday, just one day after the company’s stock suffered its steepest loss in years. Footage shows Trump, Musk and Musk’s son in front of the White House. A person is heard asking, “Mr. President, are you looking to lease or buy today?” “I’m gonna buy because – number one, it’s a great product, as good as it gets, and number two, because this man has devoted his energy and his life to doing this,” Trump said, gesturing to Musk beside him. “So, I think he’s being treated very unfairly by a very small group of people, and I just want people to know that you can’t be penalized for being a patriot.
