Mark Carney, the former governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England, achieved a landslide victory in the Liberal leadership contest on Sunday, and will soon succeed Justin Trudeau as the new Prime Minister of Canada. Footage released by Carney shows the moment his victory was announced at the Rogers Centre in Ottawa. Carney won the Liberal leadership contest with 86% of the votes.
