Tensions between some French and Israeli fans were high during the game, with some fans lobbing insults, Le Parisien said.
According to Le Figaro, 4,000 local and national police officers were dispatched to the stadium ahead of Thursday night’s game, after violence in Amsterdam last week around a match involving Maccabi Tel Aviv and AJax.
