First Presidential Debate Goes Off The Rail As Trump Repeatedly Talks Over Biden & Chris Wallace (Image: Fox News)
Following the election, President-elect Joe Biden‘s favorability rating has risen six points while President Donald Trump‘s has dropped by three.
Biden now holds a favorability rating of 55%, and Trump 42%, according to a recent Gallup poll.
Biden’s rating is nearly the highest he has ever hit; he reached 56% in February 2019, two months before declaring his presidential candidacy. Trump’s highest mark as president was 49% in April as he began to address to coronavirus pandemic.
Republicans and independents are largely responsible for the six point jump for Biden, according to Gallup, as Democrats’ views of Biden remained unchanged.
