Donald Trump has been a controversial figure ever since he announced a 2016 bid for the White House.
Since his administration ended in 2021, Trump has been at the center of multiple investigations and lawsuits over the January 6 Capitol attack, possible mishandling of classified documents and election fraud.
A new poll conducted by NBC News found that Trump’s favorability rating has dropped further to 34 percent, which is only two percentage points higher than in April 2021, when it was at 32 percent. That was the lowest point it fell to.
Fifty-four percent of votes say that they hold a negative view of the former President. That number stayed the same from August to September, but the favorability measurement dropped from 36 to 34.

While Trump’s rating has taken a hit in the month since the FBI executed a search warrant over his residence at Mar-a-Lago, President Joe Biden‘s approval numbers have risen slightly.
In September, 45 percent of those polled said they approved of the job he’s doing with 52 percent saying they disapprove.
The poll’s respondents were also asked about the ongoing investigations into Trump and his conduct. The majority of voters were in favor of the investigations and said they should continue, but 41 percent of respondents believed Trump should not be investigated.
