Former Vice President Joe Biden is leading President Donald Trump in four key swing states, a Fox News poll found.

The survey showed Biden marginally edging Trump out in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas — states that all voted for Trump in 2016.

Georgia, which Trump won by six points in 2016, now shows Biden leading 47-45. Biden leads by the same numbers in North Carolina, where Trump won by four points. And in Texas, the two are virtually tied with Biden polling at 45% and Trump at 44%.

Fox News poll, released Thursday, also showed Biden leading Trump 49-40 in Florida.

Florida voters polled overwhelmingly prefer Biden to Trump on handling immigration (50-40%), the coronavirus pandemic (49-36%) and race relations (52-34%). And his key constituents are largely split, with men preferring Biden 46-44, voters older than 65 preferring Trump 48-47 and white voters preferring Trump 50-42.

The unfavorable numbers have provoked criticism from White House counselor Kellyanne Conway who has called national polls a “colossal waste of time and money.” Trump has labeled the polling “terrible.”

The poll was conducted June 20-23 and has a margin of error of +/-3%.
