Trump Slams Chuck Schumer after New York terror attack (Nov. 1, 2017)
After a terrorist rammed a truck through lower Manhattan, New York to kill eight people and leave about a dozen injured on Oct. 31, Trump slammed the state’s Democratic senator Chuck Schumer for not being tough enough on immigration.
However, Republican Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona blasted the President, saying he worked with Schumer in 2013 to pass immigration reform as part of the ‘Gang of 8,’ and that former Republican President George H. W. Bush signed the Diversity Visa Lottery program into law in 1990.
