Trump slams several media outlets as "Fake News" at once (Feb. 17, 2017)
One day after his first solo press conference on Feb. 16, Trump lambasted multiple news outlets in a single tweet for unfairly covering his administration’s work.
The President has particularly railed against CNN. Trump even tweeted a video that was altered to show him wrestling a man to the ground with the network’s logo imposed on his face.
Trump claimed in an interview that he coined the term “fake news” and that is how he mistakenly refers to the so-called “fourth branch of government.” Not exactly a way to show respect for the first amendment.
