Trump tells Theresa May to "focus on UK terrorism" (Nov. 29, 2017)
Trump caused yet another outrage in the last days of November 2017 after he tweeted links to a series of anti-Muslim videos of people from that religious group committing violent acts.
The videos’ descriptions were later revealed to be inaccurate, and were originally shared by a British far-right hate group named Britain First.
British Prime Minister Theresa May condemned both Britain First and Trump’s posting of the videos, but the Donald couldn’t help but tell her to pay no attention to him and instead “focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism” that is assailing the UK.
However, Trump initially tagged the wrong “Theresa May” on Twitter, accidentally involving a non-famous woman with a similar handle.
Britain has in fact been struck by several terror attacks in 2017, including a bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester in May and another shooting and vehicle-related incident in London in March.
