Melania Trump was allegedly "furious" over the Stormy Daniels reports that indicate that the porn star had an affair with Donald Trump a year after they were married. MELANIA TRUMP UPSET ABOUT STORMY DANIELS REPORTS Sources close to the Trumps shared with The New York Times that Melania felt "blindsided" by the news that her husband allegedly covered up a decade old affair. Daniel detailed the relationship in a 2011 interview with In Touch magazine. She claims the two carried out an affair in March 2006, just months after Melania gave birth to son Barron Trump. Daniels says that the president paid her $130,000 not to say anything on the eve of the 2016 election. Since the Wall Street Journal broke the news on Jan. 18, In Touch has released the 2011 interview. "I actually don’t even remember why I did it but I do remember while we were having sex, I was like, 'Please don’t try to pay me,'" said Daniels in 2011. "He told me once that I was someone to be reckoned with, beautiful and smart just like his daughter." Since the article came out, Melania has canceled an overseas trip with her husband, went on an unplanned visit to the Holocaust Memorial Museum and had some alone time at Mar-a-Lago. She was reportedly in Florida while Trump was in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. The trip alone cost taxpayers $64,000, according to The New York Times. Stephanie Grisham, Melania's spokeswoman, has shut down the affair allegations. "The laundry list of salacious & flat-out false reporting about Mrs. Trump by tabloid publications & TV shows has seeped into 'main stream media' reporting…She is focused on her family & role as FLOTUS — not the unrealistic scenarios being peddled daily by the fake news," she said. Melania is expected to reappear by the president's side on Tuesday night during his first State of the Union address.
