Wisconsin State Probe Finds ‘Absolutely No Evidence Of Election Fraud’

After an intensive investigation by Wisconsin state Republicans and Trump loyalists, a state judge released a statement explaining that the election fraud claims were entirely false and the investigators found “absolutely no evidence of election fraud.”

The fruitless investigation is said to have cost nearly $1 million.

The investigations did, however, uncover evidence that found a violation of the state’s open records law by Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and a state Supreme court justice.

A judge allowed for $98,000 worth of fees to a group that seeks to sue and prosecute those involved in overturning the election results.

Dane County Circuit Judge Valerie Rihn stated that, “I think the people of the state of Wisconsin have been punished enough for this case. I don’t think it does anyone any good to have punitive damages placed on the innocent people of this state.”

The lawsuits from the group American Oversight aimed to prosecute Vos and Michael Gableman, who Vos hired to investigate the false election claims made by former President Donald Trump.

Despite the efforts by American Oversight and other Wisconsin legislators, evidence is sparse due to documents being destroyed.

Rihn, who presides over the hearings said, “This has been a long and torturous process to get here. The reality is, whatever records there were, they were either destroyed or they weren’t kept. The problem for this court is no one knows when those records were destroyed.”
