WATCH: Trump’s ‘Soup Rant’ Goes Viral Claiming Protestors Are Throwing Soup Cans – Not Bricks
President Donald Trump is Twitter-trending again – this time for his ‘”soup rant.” Following his interview with Laura Ingraham where he compared police brutality to “choking up” and “missing a three-foot putt,” a July video of Trump where he is seen complaining about protestors’ newest weapon of choice – soup cans – began gaining views and trending on social media.
In the video, Trump started off by arguing that soup cans more dangerous than bricks in the hands of protestors. “And then they have cans of soup. And they throw the cans of soup,” he said. “That’s better than a brick because you can’t throw a brick. It’s too heavy.”
He describes the cans as a weapon more effective than bricks because they are not too heavy and have the perfect amount of force.
