A flag for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was removed from a pole outside the agency’s office in Washington, D.C., on Friday. The video shows the flag being removed from the Ronald Reagan Building and the International Trade Center. Lettering and signs for USAID on the building were also covered and removed on Friday. President Donald Trump ordered thousands of USAID employees to be placed on paid leave. He ordered the return of those posted overseas as he and billionaire Elon Musk sought to gut the agency and merge it with the Department of State. (Credit: Ryan Omid via Storyful)
