The NYPD cleared pro-Palestine protesters from Barnard College as units responded to a bomb threat at the Milstein Center on Wednesday. “Anyone who refuses to leave the location is subject to arrest,” the NYPD said. “Please stay away from the area.” Footage filmed by Columbia student Elisha Baker shows him evacuate the library before walking past a mob of demonstrators. Another video from Baker captures NYPD officers clearing protesters from the building. In a statement, the affiliated Columbia University acknowledged the disturbances at Milstein Library and said “the disruption of academic activities is not acceptable conduct.” “Several protesters” who refused to leave the premises were arrested.
