VIDEO: Protesters Interrupt Democratic National Committee Forum In Washington

Multiple climate protesters interrupted a live forum for Democratic National Committee officer candidates at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., on Thursday. Some of the protesters were affiliated with the climate activist group Sunrise Movement, which said it disrupted the forum to “demand party leaders break with billionaires.” Footage shows chaotic scenes as several protesters appear to confront people on the stage. “You all work for billionaires or working people?” a protester in the video can be heard asking the people on the stage. “This happened about four times at the event with four different protesters. Young people at the event and in America are both scared and fighting for their futures.” (Credit: @K8Tela via Storyful)
