Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris met with the woman who was the first in line for the candidate’s rally in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 29, and shared a hug with her.
Footage released to the official TikTok account of Vice President Kamala Harris shows her meeting with Tracee Loran, who was the first person in line to get to the rally held at the Ellipse in Washington on Tuesday.
“I got here at 7:20 am,” Loran says in the footage, as the Vice President holds her hand. Harris then talked to the woman’s mother on the phone to “send love and greetings,” before sharing a hug with Loran.
Doors opened at around 3:30 pm for the rally, Loran said.

Harris used her closing argument speech to say voters are “not a vessel for the schemes of wannabe dictators.”
“The United States of America is the greatest idea humanity ever devised,” Harris said. “In seven days, we have the power, each of you has the power, to turn the page, and start writing the next chapter in the most extraordinary story ever told,” she added.
