The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they carried out strikes against “strategic weapons stockpiles” in Syria, including at al-Bayda port and Latakia port, “where 15 Syrian naval vessels were docked.”
The IDF said it carried out more than 350 airstrikes on Syria, targeting “most of the strategic weapons stockpiles” in the country “to prevent them from falling into the hands of terrorist elements.”
Israel’s defense minister said, “The navy acted tonight to destroy the Syrian navy and with great success. Whoever follows Assad’s path will end up like Assad.”
The IDF said footage here was “from the perspective of the munitions that were sent to strike these targets.”
