VIDEO: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Greets Gallery In Packed Courtroom Ahead Of Taking Stand In Corruption Case

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mingled with those gathered in a packed Tel Aviv courtroom on Dec. 10, as he was about to testify in his long-running corruption trial.

Footage here was taken by Moshe Noi.

Taking the stand, Netanyahu said allegations that he had used his position for his own benefit were “simply ridiculous,” insisting he had wanted to testify sooner, but the “seven fronts” of war required his attention.

Netanyahu has been widely criticized in Israel for allowing the Hamas attack on Oct. 7 to succeed. At one point, he even blamed his security services while refusing to take any responsibility himself.
