V.P. Kamala Harris Denies Feeling ‘Misused’ By Biden
Vice President Kamala Harris denied feeling “misused or underused” by the White House during an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.
Harris told Stephanopoulos: “No, I don’t… am very, very excited about the work that we have accomplished. But I am also absolutely, absolutely clear-eyed that there is a lot more to do. And we’re going to get it done.”
This news comes amidst media speculation that Harris has been delegated tasks that are relatively intractable like uncovering the root causes of migration at the U.S.-Mexico border.
On Wednesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki spoke out against the rumors, saying she felt the criticism against Harris was due, in part, to her being the first woman and person of color to hold the office.
