Under FBI Director Kash Patel, Agents Are Forced To Take Polygraph Tests To Root Out Leakers

FBI Director Kash Patel has made it clear that he intends to shape the organization in a new direction as part of the White House’s plan to exert control over it. Patel aims to establish a version of the FBI in line with President Donald Trump’s vision.

So far, Patel has already implemented numerous changes. FBI agents have been fired and ousted without an explanation. Now, Patel is making agents take polygraph tests to determine individuals who have leaked information to the media.

Patel, along with Deputy Director Dan Bongino, has instilled a feeling of unease throughout the organization. Patel and Bongino have claimed that previous directors of the organization have made politics a central issue in the organization.

So far, Patel and Bongino have replaced senior agents, and the organization is currently focusing on immigration, a subject that the Trump administration has made clear to target. The new replacements for agents at the FBI have raised many questions about the reliability of these new agents.

Bongino has revealed that the FBI will look into older investigations, such as the leak in 2022 of a draft from the Supreme Court on abortion, which returned the issue to the states. The leak of the draft was first investigated by the Supreme Court marshal, not the FBI. Likewise, they will also investigate the 2023 White House cocaine incident, which was first looked into by the Secret Service.

Patel and Bongino mark the start of a new era in the FBI, one in which many agents will be replaced with Trump loyalists who will attempt to shape the organization into a vision of their own.
