Ukrainian President Zelensky Shows Graphic Video Of Russian War Crimes To U.N. Security Council

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showed a graphic video to the U.N. Security Council on Tuesday which depicted the tragedy of Russian war crimes in Ukraine. Zelensky referred to the video as “conclusive evidence” of “genocide.”

The 43-second video shows different areas in Ukraine being terrorized by Russian attacks. Throughout the video, several cities are seen with countless dead bodies and villages destroyed. Zelensky says the United Nations isn’t taking strong enough action against Russia, which is a member of the Security Council and can veto sanctions against it.

During his speech to the U.N Security Council, Zelensky said Russian troops are killing and torturing people “just for their pleasure.” Russia responded to the charges by accusing Ukraine of staging killings in the city of Bucha.

Zelensky continues to ask for help from the U.S. and urged NATO to hold Russia accountable. “Geography may be different or various, but cruelty is the same, crimes are the same and accountability must be inevitable,” he said.
