On Monday, podcast host Tucker Carlson highlighted a foreign-policy divide among Trump supporters during his second term.
On WarRoom, a talk show hosted by former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, Carlson warned of U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict. “I am really afraid that my country is going to be further weakened by this,” he said. “I think we are going to see the end of the American empire.” Carlson also warned it could “end the Trump Presidency.”
President Donald Trump has responded to these comments at the G7 summit in Canada: “I don’t know what Tucker Carlson is saying. Let him go get a television network and say it so that people listen.” Later, on Truth Social, Trump called Carlson “kooky.”
